1. How many templates are there to choose from?
   
   Currently, there are eleven main templates, each with four color schemes, to choose from. Occasionally, MacroAgent will be releasing new templates in addition to these. When this happens, our subscribers will be informed immediately.
   
   
2. Can I change my template without having to re-enter all my information?
   
   Yes! Our management system was specifically designed to allow for changes to the "look" of your site without compromising the information entered. In addition, you can alter your choice as often as you like; whether you want to do it on a weekly, monthly or annual basis.
   
   
3. Can I customize a template?
   
   Our templates come standard with the basic sections you need to begin. You can add an unlimited number of sections/pages so you can customize your site to your liking. Each custom page allows you to add your own photographs. While the design elements of every template are locked, you do have the option of hiding sections that are not of interest to you.
   
   
4. Is there a limit to the number of custom pages or section that I can have on my website?
   
   You may have an unlimited number of sections/pages on your website. Each custom page allows you to add up to three photographs and select between three simple layouts.
   
   
5. Is there a limit to the number of listing that I can have on my website?
   
   Absolutely not! It doesn't matter if you have one or fifty listings. Unlike other companies, MacroAgent does not charge a per-listing fee nor do we punish our subscribers for being successful.
   
   
6. How many photographs can I post per listing?
   
   We provide the ability to post up to twenty photographs per listing. It is suggested that you include both interior and exterior pictures for each property in order to give your audience a good idea about the listing.
   
   
7. Can I control how much information is presented on my website?
   
   Definitely! Out database of listing information is quite extensive and you always have the option of including or excluding any information you want. In addition, if you find something missing that you would like added, you have the ability to do so.
   
   
8. Can I add labels like "Price Reduced," "Just Listed," "Open House," or "Sold" to my list of properties?
   
   Each listing has the ability to include a unique "Message" for your audience that you define. These captions are simple and easy to add in only a matter of seconds.
   
   
9. Can I use your Rich Text Formatting editor on my computer platform and/or browser?
   
   The RTF editor is only available using a Windows based PC. We recommend the use of the latest version of Internet Explorer as other browsers may not have complete functionality. Any changes made with the editor will be viewable on any computer, regardless of platform or browser.
   
   
10. Can I include HTML formatting in my text?
    
    Yes. For those without access to the Rich Text Format editor, you can include HTML tags.
    
    
11. Are your templates search engine friendly?
    
    Yes, our templates are designed to be search engine friendly. Each page within your MacroAgent website gives you the ability to add page titles, descriptions and keywords that help you improve you standing within the more popular search engines.
    
    

1. How do I post pictures to my website?
   
   Our management system includes an easy to use picture upload facility. You can post any picture saved on your hard drive, diskette or cd-rom. Whether you use a digital camera or scanner you're able to post pictures without having to do anything to them! Our software will automatically format your pictures so they fit nicely within your site.
   
   
2. What if I don't have a digital camera or scanner?
   
   You can still enjoy the benefits of MacroAgent with your traditional film-based camera, as many photo-finishing stores have the ability to develop pictures directly to CD-ROM or floppy disks. In addition, photofinishers can often scan print photos as well. If not, simply take your prints to your favorite business center where they can scan your images and put them directly on to a disk.
   
   
3. I don't know the first thing about scanning and posting photographs to the Internet. Can you help me?
   
   Once you register with MacroAgent, we'll provide you with simple yet detailed instructions on how to scan and upload your photographs. If you are still having difficulty, simply print the instructions and take them to your favorite business center where they will scan them while you wait.
   
   
4. What file format must my pictures be?
   
   The MacroAgent site accepts both JPEG (.jpg) and GIF (.gif) images. It should be noted that most digital cameras use the JPEG file format (file size should not exceed 2 megabytes otherwise the image may not upload).
   
   
5. Do I have to do anything to my photos before I post them to my website?
   
   Not at all! The software on our system will automatically adjust the physical dimensions and compression of each picture when you upload it. So, no manipulation on your part is necessary.
   
   
6. Can I use my own photograph and company logo?
   
   Absolutely! We know how important it is for real estate professionals to use a photo of themselves so we've designed our templates to allow for your picture. In addition, we have a library of logos from some of the larger real estate companies for you to use. If, however, your logo is not available, you can easily upload your own.
   
   

1. Can I register my own domain name or must I piggyback MacroAgent.com?
   
   You can do either. We encourage our subscribers to register their own domain name (www.yourname.com) in order to maximize their marketing efforts. However, should this not be an option, we can provide you an address based on our name and your username (http://username.MacroAgent.com).
   
   
2. How long does it take to process a new domain name?
   
   If your domain name is available for registering, it can take up to 48 hours for the transaction to take place. In order to get you going right away, a temporary domain name of http://username.MacroAgent.com will be available. Once your domain is secure, it will automatically be assigned to your website.
   
   
3. How much does it cost to register a domain name?
   
   We have partnered with DomainPeople for all domain name registrations. Through this partnership, we are able to offer our subscribers a domain for the low charge of $19.99 U.S./year (approximately $30.00 CAD). This expense will show on your credit card statement as a charge from DomainPeople.
   
   
4. How many characters can I use in my domain name?
   
   You can have a maximum of 67 characters in your domain.
   
   
5. What if the domain name I want is already taken?
   
   This is a common occurrence. Since millions of domain names have already been registered, the more unique your name the better the chance it will be available. If the ".com" domain you are looking for is taken, try any of the other extensions that are available for registration; .net, .org, .ca, .us, .info, and .biz for example. In addition, try a combination of letters, numbers and a dash ("-"). Just remember, a dash may not start or end your name.
   
   
6. I already have a domain name reserved. Can I use it?
   
   Absolutely, but it does require a little effort on your part. Since you are the only one with the rights to your name, you are the one who is responsible for moving it to our domain name servers (DNS). All you have to do is "point" your name to these new name servers and we will take it from there. As our hosting is done in partnership with MasterDev Technologies, the new server addresses are:

   Primary DNS:	ns1.masterdev.com	64.40.108.25
   Secondary DNS:	ns2.masterdev.com	64.40.109.50

   Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for a name transfer to occur. In order to get you going right away, a temporary domain name of http://username.MacroAgent.com will be available. Once your domain is secure, it will automatically be assigned to your website.
   
   

1. How much does MacroAgent cost?
   
   MacroAgent has a low $19.99 monthly fee. No setup or hidden fees! If you are registering your own web address, please see question number three under Domain Name above for any additional fees. Canadian residents are billed in Canadian dollars and subject to G.S.T., while United States and International residents are billed in U.S. Dollars.
   
   
2. Do I get an e-mail address with my subscription?
   
   Should you not have your own email address, MacroAgent will gladly assign one to you. This e-mail address will directly correspond to the your user name; i.e. username@MacroAgent.com. In addition, we can also offer e-mail addresses that incorporate your own domain name, should you have one registered and hosted with MacroAgent.
   
   
3. I have my own custom domain name (e.g. mydomain.com and mydomain.ca) and I would like additional e-mail accounts (e.g. john@mydomain.com or kathy@mydomain.com). How much do these e-mail accounts cost?
   
   Custom domain name mail boxes are $4.00 each per month. Each mailbox has a limit of 2MB.
   
   
4. Can I write-off my subscription to MacroAgent for tax purposes?
   
   We recommend that you consult a tax expert for the answer to this question, but feel that your subscription should be recognized as a legitimate business expense.
   
   
5. Is there a way to search for other agents from my website or MacroAgent.com?
   
   Definitely not! This is one of the many advantages that MacroAgent has to offer. One of our primary objectives is to give you business, not take it away from you by providing competing agent information. As such, we offer no way to search for other agents via MacroAgent or your own website.
